And every morning until you meet Jesus? The biblical answer is: God will take care of it.<\/p>\n<p>Do you agree with this? Does it worry you that your faith is ultimately dependent on God? I hope this is your joy and song. Believing this has enormous consequences. Let the Word of God shape your thinking on this.<\/p>\n<h2>We must endure.<\/h2>\n<p>The word \u00abmust\u00bb by itself is not a gospel word. By itself, it sounds threatening and burdensome. But it does not stand alone in the Bible. \u00abWe must\u00bb exists alongside \u00abHe will\u00bb and \u00abWe will.\u00bb \u00abWe must\u00bb becomes \u00abWe will\u00bb because \u00abGod will.\u00bb.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\u00ab&quot;If we are justified by faith, we will be glorified. This is already practically accomplished.&quot;.<\/li>\n<li>\u00abBut he who endures to the end will be saved\u00bb (Mark 13:13).<\/li>\n<li>\u00abIf we endure, we will also reign with Him; if we deny Him, He also will deny us\u00bb (2 Tim. 2:12).<\/li>\n<li>\u00abI declare to you, brothers, the gospel which I preached to you, which you received, in which you stand, and by which you are being saved, if you hold fast the word just as I preached it to you; otherwise, you have believed in vain\u00bb (1 Cor. 15:1\u20132).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>God will protect you.<\/h2>\n<p>Enduring faith is not the result of our first profession of faith, any more than health is the result of a single vaccination. Enduring faith exists because the Great Physician does His sustaining work daily. We continue to believe in Christ not because of \u00abantibodies\u00bb after conversion, but because God does His life-giving work daily to preserve faith.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\u00abNow to Him who is able to keep you from falling and to present you faultless before the presence of His glory with great joy\u00bb (Jude 1:24).<\/li>\n<li>\u00abI am confident of this very thing, that He who began a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ\u00bb (Phil. 1:6).<\/li>\n<li>\u00abI will make an everlasting covenant with them, that I will never again turn away from them or turn away from doing them good. I will put the fear of me in their hearts, so that they will never again turn away from me\u00bb (Jer. 32:40).<\/li>\n<li>\u00abHe will also confirm you to the end, blameless on the day of our Lord Jesus Christ. God is faithful, by whom you were called into fellowship with his Son, Jesus Christ our Lord\u00bb (1 Cor. 1:8\u20139).<\/li>\n<li>\u00abThe Lord will deliver me from every evil work and will preserve me for his heavenly kingdom. To him be glory forever and ever. Amen\u00bb (2 Tim. 4:18).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>We will endure.<\/h2>\n<p>Because God will see to it, we can\u2014not just must\u2014endure to the end. If we are justified by faith, we will be glorified. This is already practically accomplished.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\u00abAnd whom he did predestinate, them he also called; and whom he called, them he also justified; and whom he justified, them he also glorified\u00bb (Rom. 8:30).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Four answers to this security<\/h2>\n<h3>1. Surrender to Him<\/h3>\n<p>We give up the burden of self-preservation. We stop fussing and let the rescuer carry us out of the burning house. We can&#039;t do it ourselves. He can. He will.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\u00abI know, O Jehovah, that the way of man is not in himself: it is not in man that walketh to direct his steps\u00bb (Jer. 10:23).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>2. Rejoice in Him<\/h3>\n<blockquote><p>\u00ab&quot;Your future is secured by your almighty, ever-preserving God.&quot;.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Does not your heart respond to the joy of Charles Spurgeon when he said: \u00abOh, dear friends, the heart rejoices when you think of those mighty \u00abwills\u00bb and \u00abmusts\u00bb\u2014those immovable pillars that death and hell cannot shake\u2014the \u00abwills\u00bb and \u00abmusts\u00bb of God, who \u00abspeaks, and it comes to pass\u00bb\u00ab (The Metropolitan Tabernacle Pulpit, Vol. IX, p. 364). \u00bbFaithful is He that calleth you, who also will do it\u00ab (1 Thess. 5:24).<\/p>\n<h3>3. Rest in Him<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>\u00abCome to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest!\u00bb (Matthew 11:28).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The yoke is easy, and the burden is light, for God says, &quot;I will carry you, and you will rest in Me.&quot;.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\u00abEven to your old age I am the same, and even to your gray hairs I will carry you. I have made you, and I will carry you; I will sustain you, and I will rescue you\u00bb (Isaiah 46:4).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>4. Take a Risk with Him<\/h2>\n<p>If you know that your future is secured by your Almighty, ever-Preserving God, the threats of earth and hell cannot stop you from spreading His glory. Paul says, \u00abWhat shall we say then? If God is for us, who can be against us?\u00bb (Rom. 8:31). Therefore, we risk \u00abtribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword\u00bb (Rom. 8:35). For nothing \u00abwill be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord!\u00bb (Rom.
